Unravel Your Neck & Shoulders

October 8th @ 10:00-11:15am

Learn how to stop struggle in its tracks by feeling for those internal red flags.

This class is an exploration and excavation of embedded tension in the neck and shoulders.

What to expect:

 

  • A yoga sequence which includes: abdominal work, vinyasa, standing poses, and shoulder strengtheners

  • A few therapy ball massage moves targeting the neck, upper back and rotator cuff muscles

  • Neck releasing stretches

  • Stability & mobility  moves for shoulders, including rotator cuff muscles

  • Injury prevention and healing techniques

  • Take-away moves that you can practice at home

The Booty Class

October 15th @ 10:00am-11:15am

Glute Amnesia (aka “Dead Butt Syndrome”) is a thing. Weak butt muscles are usually a result of too much sitting and can cause:

 

  • Sciatica

  • Poor posture

  • Hip pain

  • Knee pain

  • Low back pain

  • Tight or weak hip flexors

  • Weak abdominal muscles

 

This class focuses your derrière, but it will also benefit your hips!  Our glutes help to mobilize our hips and stabilize the pelvis. They are key is maintaining posture and balance.  Development of these areas is crucial as we age.

Revitalize Your Spine

Our spines can feel like a map of our entire life. 

It’s more flexible in certain areas and stubborn in others. 

Sometimes it easily rotates so you can see outside of your tunnel vision.

Other times it’s rigidity keeps you in the same place for years.

 

Take one step towards freeing yourself from old, expired behavior patterns by moving your body in a healing way!

What to expect:

 

  • A yoga sequence which includes: abdominal work, vinyasa, standing poses, and back healing moves

  • Back and buttock strengtheners

  • Therapy ball work targeting key back and core muscles

  • Back traction moves

  • Lots of exclusive core strengtheners

Stabilize Your Hips

This breath-focused and intention-driven intensive will get you feeling your hips more deeply.  Join me for a journey through your “body blind spots” which hold us back in our poses and in our lives. You will learn moves that turn on hip-supporting muscles that can be woven into your personal practice.

 

What to expect:

 

  • exclusive hip-opening abdominal work

  • self-massage with therapy balls

  • unique strength work to stabilize your pelvis

  • long held standing poses

  • vinyasa with baby backbends

  • a delicious neck massage before a sweet Savasana
